90's Children's cartoon with horses in?

Help me please, my gf (hopefully), told me about a cartoon she used to watch in the 90's that had horses in but wasn't 'My little pony'. I'd like to buy it for her as a suprise so I can't ask her what it is, so can anyone help?

I don't think it was, because that only came out in 1997 which seems a bit late, (she's 18 now). Anyone know any earlier shows?

there was a cartoon set in australia called the silver brumby. it was about a group of horses, the main was called thourer (not sure if that's spelled right). i remember this from my early/mid childhood (it was on cbbc one) so could very well be what she watched

i know this is TOTALLY ages after u asked but its the silver brumby- ive been going mental coz no1else remembers this apart from me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
