Every time I play a track in Windows Media Player, a folder is created on my desktop called "CD1". Does anyone know how I can prevent this?

ok, go into Tools -> options -> copy music. You will see where media player will save tracks that u rip off the cd. Basically, if the folder doesnt exist, it will create it everytime you open the program. If it annoys you, change the path to somehere where you wont see it (the 'My Music' folder...?) and it wont pop up. Post back to let us know if it worked. PM.
