Shot in the dark here
I am trying to find the name of an artist but can only describe his work!
All very gentle watercolours in the edwardian era.
one picture is of a lady reclining on a cream sofa reading a book - head turned away.
one is of two little boys in sailor outfits looking out to sea - again heads turned away.
one is of two little girls playing on a beach
Common feature is you can't see any faces
They are beautiful and gentle pictures.
Can anyone help???

Do you know anything about him and where I can find a list of his work?
It's driving me mad - I have two paintings of his - the lady and the little boys and want to find the third of the girls but don't know where to start!

The pictures are lovely ..I have often seen them reproduced on cards and am sure I have seen them once in the V&A when they had a seaside exhibition there although they were quite likely prints..
