virus? help

Have got a toolbar from somwhere that i dont know how to remove and keep geting a speach bubble from the yellow caution triangle popin up every couple of seconds saying system alert:trojan-spy.win32@mx and to click balloon to down load official security software.also cant get my homepage up it just goes to a internet security page all the time.what can i do please help.

what you have to do is find out who's toolbar it is then go to add & remove in control panel look down the list and try and find it, then remove it, if that does not work try down loading [ AVG FREE ] and let it do a scan of your computer to make sure that there is no virus.

Run this:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo .nsf/docid/2005033108162039
to remove all that norton rubbish. Then download these two programs and install them:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/avg-anti-virus-fre e/lng/us/tpl/v5 (free version)
http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.htm l
Once installed (you may need to restart), update them both and do a full scan of your computer with both of them.
Run this:
