By downloading / copying games you make the stores selling them lose money, which in turn makes them not able to get as many copies of games in stock. This also means the game makers are not selling as many games and thus not getting the funding to pay for more game developers. This means that games take longer to make and also make game development companies go bust.
And it is highly illegal and you should all be put in prison and have some sort of games console owning ban slapped onto you.
Geodiegirl, I hope your machine breaks and if it belongs to someone else then I hope they Solely blame you when they have no console to play on..............
Your all stupid not to realise the knock-on effoect of your greedy self motivated actions.

I'm afraid I must agree with Malcolmkent, he has a valid point. My partner worked for a Game developing company that went bankrupt due to lack of returns from games sales, so maybe we should think why the PS3 is so highly priced?? Also if you chip your machine you are unable to take it back to where you got it from or trade it in, if there happened to be anything wrong with it!! Theres sense in all this madness somewhere!!
