The department stores of the John Lewis Partnership. The policy is not that simple though. They will not match prices with internet, catalogue companies or shops that require membership. This means they won't match Argos or Matalan, for example. Also, each individual department store will price their stock to match items for sale within a radius of just a few miles. If you find the item cheaper anywhere else in the UK, John Lewis will match the price but only for you on the occassion that you report it. They will continue to sell identical products at the higher price. E.g. If John Lewis Oxford Street is selling Herbal Essences shampoo for 2 a bottle but you find it for sale in Boots in Aberdeen for 1, the store in Oxford street will allow you to buy it from them for 1 but will continue to charge their other customers 2. This means they ARE being knowingly undersold.
