Can i be pregnant of its just the birth control?

My and my boyfriend has sex alot of time after my period in december 18th when it went off.I started taking me birth control on the 7th of january like my doctor prescribed me and now my period has not came on.I dont know if its the birth control or could i be pregnant.I have some smptoms such as tender breast,backaches,increase in appietite,and cramping.my period has not came on yet for january and january is almost earlier.I need some advice.what do you all think?

do i take bottles to hospital?

what protection did you use between dec 18th and 7th Jan?
what pill are you on? Combined or mini?
Have you thought about taking a pregnancy test to check?

if you used no protection then of course you may be pregnant! TAKE A TEST! If you are pregnant then seek your doctors advice as you have been taking the pill.

Of course, it may be that the symptoms you are experiencing are from the pill.
