Just started seeing a guy. He is 19 I am 32. What do you think? I think he's young and Im worried. He's very mature and looks older??!!

you'd have been a child-bride to be his mother, sorry homer, no offence !! at this point it does seem something of a gap but given a few years it won't matter a bit - if you both are happy and satisfied with the relationship then what other people think is irrelevant.

I would advise you not to take the relationship too seriously. Enjoy the moments. Have fun. But at 19 he IS so young - only just an adult, whole life ahead, curious, and most important - male.

Nothing wrong with the age gap at all. It might be a serious long term thing or it might be more light hearted and fun, but whichever aslong as you are happy it doesn't matter. just enjoy each other and yourselves.

Im 23 and my partner is 47 we have been together for 5 years. We have 2 companies and two wonderfukl kids.

If the age gap bothers you and you have to question his age and come on here why are you with him?!

Salamanda - age does not have to be a defining thing in a relationship. It you two are great together then go for it! However, I do agree with mysticman to some extent, in that you do need to protect your heart.

Just remember, we each have just one precious life! So, if you are happy with him and he with you, just enjoy each other for as long as you have together.

My darling partner is 9 years younger than me and we couldn't be happier!

Hmmm, i think basically what everyone is trying to say is it wont last.lol.
Sorry, salamanda, but i agree. It will be ok for a while, but then you will drift apart as you will be into different things. But, hey, make the most of it whilst you can. Its not uncommon for those age caps to last. I have a mate who is still seeing his chick for the last 4 years, he is 7 years younger.(26 and 34).

Actually MrBen, just to clear that up, I was not saying that at all. I think it's perfectly possible that it'll evolve into a long term relationship, but since I'm not one of the people concerned obviously can't tell. Age is irrevelvant, go for it and don't let anyone put you down.

Enough men trade in their partners for a younger, prettier model, so it's about time us girls fight for our equality rights and do the same!

Plus he's at his sexual peak so make sure you catch up on your sleep when you're not seeing him. Even if it doesn't last, just enjoy the ride (pun intended!).
