popup problems

Hi,having problems for a change! ive got a popup blocker on my google toolbar wich worked fine up untill a few days ago.It blocks some but still geting loads,what can i do about this? Also when im on the net when i try to go to another web site or look at my e-mails by clicking on my messenger ikon,instead of it bringing the page up full screen it just a tiny box that i have to enlarge every time.Can anyone help with this?Thanks alot,Dean.

The ads keep coming up and it says its in my local setting?
cant find where that is though.
