Anyway, I have just decided that I am not going to die. You may explain my absence by using one of the following:

He passed
He crossed over
The Good Lord took him
He expired
He's at peace now
He's no longer with us
Who's dead?................Never heard of him!
crete,
4getmenot has been zapped (or delayed) again and has emailed me asking if i can post her reply on here.

she says:
"Yep I have a list of songs, who gets jewellery, who carries my coffin, who gets my dairies, what I want to wear and what goes in with me. The reason for this is I have had far too many friends pass away young and sat there thinking, they wouldnt have wanted this song at all, (usually what the girlfriends chosen) Its not morbid its just how you would like to be remembered"

:-(
no not at all...im still a teenager and i know i want to be cremated and to have my ashes scattered in the sea were i went as a small kid and also i dont want anyone wearing black at my funeral they have to be brightly dressed, black is way too depressing and typical!!
Not morbid at all crete, Both me and my hubby have chosen our song/hymns. We also looked to the future and organised a funeral plan so when "The time" comes for one of us, the other just has to contact the undertaker and they do everything even down to the flower's if specified. All we had to do was choose our "Orange boxes",did'nt like that bit but it had to be done. My choice..Amazing Grace,The Old Rugged Cross and The Lord's My Shepherd.
Oh and No Black!
I'm not just picking the funeral, but the wake, and a week's worth of tunes on the jukebox down the local. I'm then dividsing up all my CD's in my will, and forcing them on people who I think could do with a bit more taste. I'll announce via video from beyond the grave, that these should all be played on both my birthday and dying day as a rememberance. That's going to really nark everyone.

Oh, and isn't it a popular notion that 'Perfect Day' was about heroin addiction? You might give the relatives a bit of a worry at the funeral Curly!
Not much thought to my own, but plenty to my husbands, and I've just got his suit cleaned !! :-)) (joke)
Mr Overall & our offspring all have a list of songs I want playing at my funeral, and there's not a hymn in sight. I've stipulated no black clothes...I want people to have a good time and hopefully celebrate my life rather than mourn my death.
I too want cremating and my ashes scattering at sea. I'd then like my first husband ('The Swine') to be invited to dance on my grave.

all along the watchtower, the hendrix version

and Comfortably Numb, pink floyd, which will be appropriate, in the circumstances.....lol
just listening to pink floyd........

could i change that to ..... wish you were here, by pink floyd?

or is it, a bad choice?
As i said before, I want Green Day "Good Riddance" at mine.

Ummm you must learn the difference between stewey and StewyGriffin. ;-)
Yup ~ 'Perfect Day' is a fabulous song..but isn't about a person..it's about the 'brown stuff' ;o)
