Is it just me, or does the answer to 31 rely on a definition that isn't in Chambers 2003? Perhaps it's in Chambers 2006, which I haven't yet invested in. (It's in Collins 1986)
Also, it seems a bit careless that the clue to 35 should contain the answer to 34, and the clue to 1 the answer to 8.

All the 'instructions' say is that Chambers is recommended, after all.
