T4 - why

I know Sunday TV in the morning is dire at the best of times, but apart from dishing out a load of repeats (barely 2 or 3 days since 'original' screening in a lot of cases except 10 year of episodes of Friends of course). And 7 hours of Steve Jones, Mosquitoe and June Sarpong? What is the point of T4 ?

Is it really about making sure we see what we might have "missed" the first time round providing we avoided C4 (for the past 10 years), E4, More 4, E4+1 and More4+1 ?

What is the point of T4 ? Can anyone explain?

I use it to catch up on programmes I miss during the week such as Hollyoaks, the OC, Shipwrecked, quite nice to just be able to have a lazy sunday morning watching mindless crap on tv :)

Find the actual T4 bits inbetween annoying though as find the presenters annoying.
Yes, I don't mind the chance to catch stuff I've missed but there's far too much of it. Sometimes I lose track of which ones are the one I've seen and exactly when the new one starts to be shown. But as for the T4 strand, god what a load of waffly crap. There's no reason for it, and the idea of having talent-free presenters having to extemporise all that time is ludicrous as they just end up talking completely vapid drivel. But then what do you expect from bland cutouts like Sarpong - my god is she really still doing it? A firm contender for the award of most annoying pointless person on TV. And that voice! It's like a rusty cheesegrater on my nerve-endings.
Speaking of awards for June Sarpong, I read she was awarded the MBE in the new years honours list for "presenting youth programmes on Channel 4". Que?!
