Moog was also a canine character in Willo The Wisp. Details here.
The original Moogs were monophonic, and incredibly temperemental - a light shower in a thirty-mile radius would make them go wildly out of tune, so you needed a vast knowledge of electronics to match your musicianship in order to get along with them. Kids today don't know they're born .... (blathering on for twenty minutes ...)
Hi Chas I'm afraid I don't own a Moog, either the monophonic synth or the dog like creature from Willo the Wisp. I do know someone who did own one - the synth not the dog - but I'm not sure if he still has it. There's a Moog Prodigy on sale on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=380 71&item=3743574986&rd=1
