Herby Panini's

My Dad and I stopped today for some lunch at a garden center in the New Forest and we both had Panini's. I have seen regular ones to buy in the supermarkets, but these were herby ones with little bits in - does anyone know where you can get these???

Pitstop you could make your own:) All you need is an iron skillet to cook them in and a brick wrapped in aluminum foil to put on top of them:) I saw one of the chefs do it that way on TV - those panni makers are a little bit expensive.

How about "panini" makers instead - not sure what you could make with the other:)

panini means a toasted sandwich made using ciabatta bread - you can get garlic, herb, sundried tomato and olive variations in waitrose.

Sorry guys - incredibly rude of me! I haven't got round to visiting a Waitrose yet, but I on my my there in the next 10 minutes to see if they stoke said herby panini's!

OK, went to my local'ish Waitrose - not a herby panini or ciabatta in sight! Miffed off - had to have a pain rustique instead! Please continue to search whilst out & about on your travels.........................
