I've recently got an old DOS game. I can play it in XP no probs but the sound is through the motherboard and I can't seem to turn it down. I don't want to turn it off, but it is too loud. Does anybody know how to turn it down. I have tried every slider possible in the sounds option for windows xp thats in the system tray.

Please help. Thanks

Do you have separate amplified speakers, or are they contained in your monitor ?
sounds like you mean it's through the internal buzzer. Not aware of any way of changing the volume of this, but doesn't mean it can't be done.
