Yellow Triangle

I keep getting a yellow triangle at the bottom of computr with ! in it and a message saying I have a back door trojan and saying to click the baloon to download the removal software. I also have an additional 'protection' toolbar which has appeared from nowhere. How do I get rid of this rubbish? I rund Spyware Blaster, windows defender and AVG anti virus. TIA

Do not respond in any way to pop ups saying you have a virus (unless of course it is from your own virus scanner) do not click on it, do not click yes, do not click no, do not click on the X do not click anywhere on it!!! it is just a scam to get you to part with your hard earned!!!

I have restored my PC to a couple of days earlier and the pop up and weird toolbar have disappeared but I am worried this may be just disguising the problem and it may still be lurking somewhere. PC seems a little slow

Download and use 'Smitfraudfix' - it'll clear it out if it's still present.

Had this at the weekend and it came from nowhere.i bought spyzooka for �18 off the website and it cleared it right away.
