Happy Days and The Fonz!

I am having a debate with my wife about the old tv programme... Happy Days! I think it was great TV and she thinks, well......... that everyone has well and truly moved on from watching "that type of program!" and that i'm "sad" for even suggesting that our Son (or we) should watch it!

I used to love Happy Days when it was in its prime,but I have to say,when I caught an old episode recently from later episodes,I didnt think it had passed the test of time.I'd certainly give the early Fonzy episodes a try though..not sad at all!!

Yep, I'd agree - ear;y shows are clasic TV, but it 'jumped the shark' - and indeed invented that expression, as a sign of its terminal decline.

As a rule - if Ralph Malph isn't on the opening credits, turn off!

How well has Ron Howard done though, he was never a good actor but he hasn't been half bad as a director.

I love Happy Days - catching some of them on Five US (or whatever the channel is). You can't beat a bit of escapism (and nostalgia).

OK, so i am reading that you all liked the 'early' episodes, however they became less satisfing as they progressed.... anyway, i just wanted to say a big thanks, my dearest is now sat with a very smug grin on his face....hummmmmm......anyway, Mr Alan 2, mork and mindy did indeed rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
