Hyperhidrosis - anybody clued up??
3 Answers
I was wondering if anybody knew specific details about hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)
I have read that there is a fairly new treatment available for axillary hyperhidrosis, involving a lipo suction style removal. Does anybody know if this is available on the NHS or is only available privately??

Hello,
Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately I have checked both of these sites and there is nothing about the fairly new procedure of liposuction-like removal. I obtained a link from the UK support group to the main Hyperhidrosis Society but does not mention anything UK specific, like whether or not this is available on the NHS.
I have contacted several private clinics and all seem to only do the brutal removal method :(
Any more help or ideas? Its so frustrating...

Have a look at this site. You have to travel quite far down the page but it explains about the lipo suction.
There are quite a few options to try as an alternaitive too. Good luck I hope this helps.
