Hello

I have vinyl tiles on my kitchen floor, a few are missing and there are a couple of shallow holes. I would like to put vinyl wood effect strips down and obviously need a smooth surface. I'm thinking of using some self leveling compound but I'm not sure how easy this is to use and whether I should take up all the tiles and put it down or just put it on top of what's there already.
Any thoughts??
