TWAIN drivers & Scanner

My scanner, an Epson Perfection 1670, suddenly stopped working. It seems the problem is to do with corrupt TWAIN drivers. The question is, does anyone know a site where I can download new ones (and where do they go once you've got them). I've drawn a blank on Epson & Google.

I know the scanner works ok because I've downloaded Picasa 2 and imported images that way - it must use a different way of getting them - but its a pain having to save every image. Besides, I would like to use Paint Shop Pro to scan - getting fed up with 'workarounds'.
