I'm quite used to eating and then lying down or sleeping immediatley and due to that I've developed a little flab around my tummy( a pot belly if you will). Not too sure what to do to get rid of it.
People always say sit ups but I reckon it woiuld put a lot of strain on your back. Try lying down and doing leg lifts instead, but don't let your feet touch the floor, keeping your legs together and straight of course. Also, do them in sets, but not sure how many. Maybe 5 or 10?
I wished I would take my own advice though as I've also got a little pot belly!!!!
You wont be able to spot reduce fat around your stomach, doing sit-ups or abdominal based exercises will only work the muslces below your 'flab'.
It is recommended to do exercises around 50-60% of your max heart rate (max heart rate = 220 - age). The body then tends to break down fat rather than carbohydrates as its source for fueling the exercise.
In any case it wont hurt to do some abdominal exercises to when you do lose your 'pot belly' they'll be something left to look at.
