Hi. Can anyone tell me if there is a name for the phobia of bar codes? Or if there are any other sufferers out there? My friend says that she cannot have bar codes facing her and has to turn them away. I think this could be an Obsessive Compulsive Disorder What do you think?

Never heard of it, sounds like it is probbaly an OCD. There are millions of things that can fall under the ODC umbrella.

Hi there, Your friend could have a bar code phobia or more plausible,when she see's the strip's they could be causing her to have bout's of vertigo. Does she feel dizzy and sick?.

No dizziness - she just feels uncomfortable.

Its sound's like a phobia Kh. I have a phobia of large/high building's. I use a relaxation cd before I go out. If you look to the right you'll see various article's there which may help your friend. My Cd is so relaxing.
