Have the Granada Make-up people finally reached the height of Weirdness with the David Platt latest look?

Is his hair-style supposed to look like a film starlet of the 1950`s? I was just gob-smacked at his appearance last night, so much so I missed all the dialogue. OR having heard the news about Sean and Sonny is he going to put himself forward as a candidate for their club?

ha ha ha i totally agree, i missed EVERYTHING he said, cos i was too busy looking to see if someone had left the curlers in the back of his head!!! and is it me aor his lips disappearing into his face?? they seem to get thinner each time? Oh and i see Diedres given up on the old belts, good job cos shed have a job getting one round that gut!

Funnily enough I was watching it last night at a friends house and we all agreed he looked really weird and a wee toerag to boot! As for Deirdre, I can never concentrate on what she's whining about as I'm to busy staring at that chicken neck of hers, how bizzare is that!!

Glad I`m not the only one who gets distracted, it`s obviously the same sort of fascination that people get when their whole attention is taken up with a gory road-accident, except of course that he is worse.

Strange actually, as he was a lovely looking little boy - ever so cute in his early days in corrie. However, his hair is well weird now and its so easy to imagine he'd be just like his character. However, I can vouch for the fact that he is lovely in real life - I've never met him but my son has on numerous occasions and he is a real nice guy.

There is actually a name for Davids look!!!! You know like when you have a chav ect ect. well, apparently David is a Emo and his hair style is called and Emo Sweep!!!!

have to disagree about the 'neck' thing regarding Diedre tho as far as i can remember she has always had a turtle neck even years before she had cancer? : )

many years ago starry eyes - possible about 15 years ago - Anne Kirkbride had non-hodgkins lymphoma (in the neck) but kept on acting during most of her treatment. She made a full recovery.
