This varies greatly as kids have to develop, physically, in order to recognise the need to go!
From a personal slant my daughter stopped wearing nappies on her 4th birthday, not because she seemed to be ready, I just felt we ought to give it a go and only ever had 2 wet beds and never lifted her in the night. My son was totally different. We took him out of his nappies at night 6 months ago when he was 4 years and 3 months and he wets a couple of times a week even now despite us getting him out to the loo at 11pmish!
thank you. we have a daugther who has just turned 4, she has been out of nappies for some time ,but we are struggling to get her out of bed time nappies, your reply has helped.thanks
my daughter has been dry in the day since she was two,she wears those night time pull ups for bed,im trying at the min to get her out of them, shes just three, children are all different.
my son will be 6 in june, he still wears nappies at night as no matter how often i get him up in the night he refuses to go to the toilet and he still wets the bed even if i do have sucess. My eldest son was dry at 4 and my 2 year old is showing interest already..all children are different..so dont sweat about it..when they're ready..they're ready..dont force the issue...i found this makes things ten times worse...just keep buying the nappies and reward them if theyre dry in the morning x
my little girl will b 4 in april and still wears nappies at night, she isnt ready, tried for 2 nights and she was soaked at 3am and was so upset, just go by what you think is right, give it a go ,if it doesnt work out try again at a later date. My older daughter was dry at night by 3 1/2... im not worred, so please dont you xx
