The question heading and subsequent question do not equate. If you have a 'ce ' licence you are entitled to drive articulated vehicles, however if you have an old class three licence you can not hold a 'ce ' licence, therefore are only entitled to hold a 'c' licence. This entitles you to drive rigid vehicles up to four axles with a gross weight of 32.5 tonnes. Hope this helps. !

yes thanks the confusion was about the draw bar entitlememnt and if a class 3 three now covers rigids with more than 2 axles
