I know this is really sad but I really would like to know............. When you tumble dry a duvet cover with the buttons undone, why does everything else in the dryer always end up in the cover like a big bag. This has happened several times. Has it happened to anyone else?? Does anyone know why or am I just a tumble dryer freak.

glad I'm not alone ... it's a pain

Well, winny , just the other day I wondered the very same thing as I untangled my duvet cover in annoyance . No it is not just you. Even if you dry the blooming things on their own they manage to devour themselves leaving a tangle I shall watch this thread and see if any tips appear to ease our frustration !
Yes, it's happened to me too, which is why I always try and wash my duvet cover on a nice breezy day so that I can dry it outside hanging on the line. Quite apart from it smelling fresher afterwards , I always find it needs less ironing too.

Ironing!!!! Now that is an interesting thought......for another day

I do agree about the smell and feel though It is fresher on the line.
I have a simple solution. Take 60 seconds to button up the bottom of the cover before you put it in the washing machine. :D I got sick of fishing socks out the bottom corners of mine and buttoning it up works a treat :)
