You kindly answered my problem - dated 22/1/07 at 20.45 hours - but I have not been on the internet due to health problems until three days ago.
I am still having this problem and I have the proper server address - smtp.tiscali.co.uk - entered.
I am now getting the following numbers errors 0x800cc15 - 0x800ccc0D - and I get cut off from my connection each time I try to get an email sent. Then I go back to my Outbox and it seems to have gone. Also some of my emails received are going straight into my deleted box.
What problesms - should I just get a new ISP or is Tiscali just rubbish. I have sent a Trouble Shooting email to them a few minutes ago.
I use Tiscali and I find them excellent. Their helpline may be in India with a delay on the line, but they are very knowledgable.
I am not a computer whizz, so am not the man to answer your query.
However try going to www.tiscali.co.uk log on an go to the help tab. There is an option for e mail and there are various options there.You may find your answer.
If you use Tiscali then I would suggest that you go to the forums page and you can place your question in the PC help section.It mat be that there is a problem with your setup
They also have a broadband/dial up support pages as well.
I have been with Tiscali for 5 years and to date touch wood have had a good reliable service
I managed to get an email to tiscali [email protected] and they outlined exactly what I should do step by step, and hooray, it has worked. I can now send emails once more.
