JML Dryer Balls

Has anyone tried these? I have seem them in my local Wilkinsons and on the JML website. Claim to save 25% on tumble dryer costs. At �9.99 could I be making an expensive mistake.

Sorry, cannot vouch for them as like you, I did stop to look but decided that the really are too expensive for what they are.

Yes I have 2 and they do help dry the clothes quicker, but they do get caught up in things like bedding, hence I've lost one somewhere! and they are a bit clunky noise wise, but definately dry quicker.

My wife got some for Christmas and says that they are great - not had to use sheets anymore.

Cost wise, she always used to put sheets in the dryer - and they cost around �2 for 40, so will soon pay for itself.

They certainly cut down on drying time.
I took advice from this site to buy them to soften up towels and they work well for that too.
I say they are well worth the money!!

I've always put a dry towel in with the sheets & towels in the dryer, this does speed things up a little bit. I've looked at these balls too, do they snag the clothes?

I've got some and they are great. They don't snag clothes at all. My dogs are convinced they are alive though, and keep picking them up and taking them away if they fall out the dryer.

I haven't noticed any reduction in the time it takes to dry clothes, but I don't need tumble dryer sheets any more, and I reckon they have paid for themselves.
