Hi, im currently 16 and about to start college, to do a Drama National Diploma. I've always had a really strong passion for films and short films, the arty type which i find really give me a buzz if they are good films. I've got ideas for films that i want to do and try to realise my dreams but i dont know how i would go about starting off etc, any good hearted films directors out there looking for a good apprentice? :D, i believe i have a very good eye for film, but i dont know how to expant my talent, sorry if this seems like im bragging or something, im not i just need help, thanks all

Everyone does an arts course.
There won't be enough fimmaking jobs for everybody with a qualification who thinks they have an artistic eye.
In a few years time there will no doubt be a Directing Idol hosted by someone in the Cowell family.

Your college and definately university if you go will have some theatre or film making society. You could probably expand there.
Try mucking about with a video camera. People who paint don't start out with the sistine chapel.
