Noisy radiator
4 Answers
The radiator in my bedroom makes a tapping noise about every minute or 2 starting off quick and then slowing down, a sort of TAPTAPTAPTAPTAPTAP..TAPTAPTAP.....TAP.....TAP.......TAP...............TAP before stopping. I live in a 1 bed flat and the bedroom rad is both furthest from the gas combi boiler and the lowest in the flat. Can somebody tell me what this noise is and how to stop it?

Or it is the same thing happening but on the rad brackets and you need to put some strong insulation tape into the groove's that the rad hangs on. It is no cause for alarm just an annoying noise that you either put up with or do as i suggested to cure it.
