Why does my cat like to sleep on my chest (even when I'm sitting up)? I hate it because sometimes i can't watch t.v. or rest because it makes me uncomfortable. Everytime I push her off she tries and tries to get on my chest again. How do I make her stop?

Such attitudes are instinctive, but you can break her of the habit by firmly pushing her away each time. Why not provide a cushion near you, and try to encourage her to sleep on that instead.
Get a baby blanket for your cat and she gets on your chest put the blanket on you. After a short while move blanket next to you and put her on it. She will get comfort from knowing she is near you and eventually you can train her to go straight to the blanket.
Worked a treat wiht my cat who would do this and suck my clothes lol!
