internet connection playing up

hi i was on talk talk broadband and about a month ago bought a netgear wireless adsl router which plugs into my phone line and the back of my desktop computer and then my wierless enabled laptop runs off it too . it was all working fine . But thn on tuesday night i couldnt access the internet on either of the pcs . they both said Local area connection 3 unplugged . well i have checked all cables ad they all are plugged in and i have rung both netgear and my internet provider and they couldnt help . i can get on the interent but with a lot of faffing on the laptop , i have to disable and then enable certain wierless connections and then click repair . and evn when i finally do get on it will keep disconnectign me and then i have to start all voer again which is a pain . so i then plugged my old talk talk modem back into the desktop pc and that worked fine (not wireless) so it isnt a problem with talk talk i dont think . so is there something up with the wireless modem , please help i need the internet badly over the coming weekend

Try resetting the router (little button on base or back of it), and starting again with it.
