Does anyone remember the series with the characters Billy and Pince filmed in London . Can you name the artist who sung the title music

i remember that and the song ! it starred gary olsen and the song was performed by MADE IN ENGLAND & RAY DORSET- cant remember the title tho !

As you've probably already found from the Television Heaven website where you also posted this question: Propects (Thames TV's Euston Films, 1986) featured Pincy (Gary Olsen) and Billy (Brian Bovell). I believe the writer had written all 12 episodes before he sold it to Channel 4. The entire series was set on the Isle of Dogs, gawd help it... It's a shame that Channel 4 is so bad at showing its old stuff, as this is exactly the kind of show which could do with a revival.

Yes i remember it well, Mona the girlfriend and "Stretch" the gangster. It was brilliant, it came out at around 1986/7, pity it dosent get repeated. If you like Prospects, you would probably also like UNDERWORLD that stared Mike Reid and Alun Armstrong, this is also another channel 4 classic. Does anyone know where i can get hold of either of the above?.
