My dictionary shows DIS as being the same as the Greek Hades, which is another name for Hell.

I know it seems a bit tenuous, but I can't think what else it could be.

The' of a girl' part refers to belonging to Di os Di's (Dis)

I can only assume the clue refers to Diane, and reads Di's (DIS) a hell of a girl.
