UK forces are trained much better than US forces and do not have the shoot first ask questions later gung ho attitude the yanks have. I work with both the US and UK armed forces in the UK [air force and army but not the navy} and so speak from experience as to their military abilities. If given a target UK forces will use all available intelligence and survey it before attacking it, the US {especially the US marines} will attack the target to get the intelligence and then survey the damaged they just created, its just the way they do things... effective but dangerous to all....not just the enemy
