bank account emptied

my father in law died two years ago. i remember him having two building society accounts. these did not show up in the executor's accounts. i suspect my brother in law (who lives at the same address) of emptying these accounts. what should i do?

Ask the executor (who is presumably not your brother-in-law) to give you a written authority to contact the Bank. Armed with that and the Probate, ask the Bank for details of transactions over the period in question.
