Any advice about where to book a holiday online?
I've never booked online and I'm wary of doing it. Also any recommendations for good sites to try?
I was thinking of trying Malta for a week over easter.
All advice happily received!

peterbar I always book my hols online and haven't had a problem yet. I don't use any particular site. I've just booked two weeks in Corfu in June for 300, self catering accommodation, flights and airport transfers included! Some sites have a phone number that you can ring once you've found the holiday you want.
Good luck searching!
Peterbar - I have never had any problems on the many occasions I have booked holidays online.

Specifically for Malta, a good site is www.maltadirect.com

HTH
The only thing I would suggest is that you look out for the ABTA & ATOL signs on the website so - if you are not using one of the well known companies - you are covered if the company fails.
Also it is a good idea to pay with a credit car rather than a debit card . With a credit card you are also covered - same as you are ordering goods.
If your going with a package holiday, then just check their website. Kosmos,Thompson etc
try travelrepublic, I've had some good deals with them, also fleetway travel.
