I have some emails in Microsoft Outlook (2007) where the sender name is Russian (Cyrillic alphabet). The Cyrillic characters are not displayed, but are replaced by question marks. How can I correct this?

When I view the email in webmail (Internet Explorer) it is displayed correctly.

I'm guessing that you'd need that particular font installed on your PC ... I may be wrong.

I have a Cyrillic font installed. Like I said, I can view Cyrillic text in Internet Explorer and in email bodies, but not in the email subject or from fields.
In the edit menu, or somewhere like that, it should be set to view the email in UTF-8. Though, this also requires the email to be sent in this format too.

In the Edit menu I have Undo, Cut, Copy, Office Clipboard, Paste, Select All, Delete, Move to Folder, Copy to Folder, Mark as Read, Mark as Unread, Mark All as Read and Categorize.
Try View -> Character Encoding.

I have Thunderbird and not Outlook so can't point precisely.

Unfortunately there is no "Character Encoding" option in the View menu.
What a shame
