I've just bought this car from a friend who bought it in Cyprus whilst in the Forces. The company he gets his insurance from seemed quite expensive to me but I'm struggling to get it cheaper because firms who insure imports appear to be few and far between. There are no modifications and I have the certificate of european conformity with it. Has any one any ideas of places I can try please? At the moment the cheapest I've got is 330 and that's with 9 years no claims on a 1.4 Peugeot!

Thanks - this one's on my list for when they open tomorrow. I've tried most of the on-line comparison sites but come unstuck when they want to know further details on the model of the car eg GX, type of trim etc because my reg doc just says it's a Peugeot 206. I've also rung Direct Line, AA, Zurich, Post Office, Churchill and a few others but not getting anywhere!
i second adrian flux. I also used direct line for a japanese import and norwich union for a german import
