1 Answers
i am 19 and am on the pill and have been for the past three years. I usually have quite light periods that last around 3-4 days but i have now been on this one for just over two weeks. it is unusually painful and it comes in fits and starts. when it is on its very heavy and when its not it is like a kind of brownish discharge like its going to stop. Any ideas?

Would it not be possible to come off the pill for a period month or so? If you are sexually active, I am sure unless you have a fear or intolerance of rubber, then using johnnies won't hurt for a while.
Not that I am against the pill, one of the greatest breakthroughs in modern medice if you ask me, but at the end of the day it does interfere with mother nature (excuse the pun!)
Maybe let your body adjust to how it was built and return to the pill later?
I have no idea if this is right or wrong advice, but from a limited knowledge of the birds and the bees, I can't see it doing any harm.
Lets hope a lady answers soon.
