Insomnia

Advice please for my lovely 50 year old wife, who has no problem going to sleep, but wakes 3 - 7 times during the night....I know it's hormonal, but...?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it seems to be the norm. I have three friends and we all do it. I don`t go to bed till 1am but am up and down all night. My neighbour was just telling me she went to sleep at 11.30 last night and was up watching the TV from 2 am till 4 am.Not the ideal solution for everyone but my husband and I are now in seperate rooms, at least he gets his sleep out.
