I�ve tried to clear my ipod memory, but it says about 16gb still there! Why i wanted to erase the files was because some of them had been damaged. So, here i am unable to update it from itunes due lack of space....

There is a restore utility which should have come with your I-Pods cd rom. This wipes the I-pod back to as new condition. You can also download it from Apples I-Pod website, which also has a vast forum like the answerbank but just for Apple,I-Pod, I-tunes etc. http://discusssearch.info.apple.com
