Must have been a year or 2 back. On Tomorrows world (BBC) they demonstrated how you can convert files such as mp3s so that they could be printed on to a single sheet of paper, then re-scanned into the computer using just a normal scanner, and then reconverted back into the original file. Anyone have an idea of the name of the software etc??

The program you need is "Finale", it can notate music from midi files, music played on a midi keyboard, even directly via a microphone!!! It can also work in reverse & can scan in from manuscript. A cheaper version with not so many features is "Finale print music".
