i am trying to find out who sang a song but i only know the first four lines and they are
do do do do do your remember
do do do do do you recall
the day we went out into the country
just to get away from it all

you've answered your own question a bit further down the page - "do you remember", written by mcgough & mcgear and recorded by the scaffold - got to no 34 in 1968.

Thanks mushroom25 - any chance anyone knows a website where I can find all the lyrics? I have tried a google search but not been able to find anything, and there does not seem to be a Scaffold fan club website. Any help appreciated
