Chicago songs - odd words!

Silly question I'm sure, but I'm learning some songs from the Chicago soundtrack... in one of them at the start, the ladies say the following -


"Pop... Six... Squish...Unh-uh...Cicero... Lipschitz..."

Does anyone know what this means (if anything?!) or what relevance it has in the story. Tried searching online but can't seem to work it out...

Any help appreciated! ps. is the film any good?

Hi, in the song different women tell their stories about their men and in most cases, why they killed them. The first one is about a man who keeps popping his chewing gum (pop), the fifth one was performing at a club called the Cicero when she caught her husband cheating and so on. So the line you were confused by is when each woman says one word or makes a sound that relates to their own story, to sort of make a rhythm for the song.

Pop - is because her man was popping gum
Six - Is because her man was a mormon who was married 6 times
Squish - Never managed to figure that one out
Uh-Uh - the answer this women gave when asked 'did you do it'
Cicero - as Clem mentions
Lipschitz - the surname of the 6th womens love.
