gerry mulligan
I have a recording of a Gerry Mulligan small group - piano, vibes, bass, drums, plus Mulligan brt sax of course - playing "Love me or Leave Me". The vibraphone player is possibly Lionel Hampton (it sounds like him). But I have searched various discographies, including the latest of Tom Lord's comprehensive CD-ROM version, and I can find no reference to this tune being recorded by these two together. There are several recordings listed of the tune played by a Mulligan group, but none that includes a vibraphone. Has anyone any ideas, please?

Could it be one of them.

Thanks very much VHG. The session of 15/9/53 isn't in any of my discogs, so maybe that's the one. Even though no vibraphone is mentioned among the instruments on display, I do know that the listed drummer does play the vibes sometimes (though I didn't think he'd sound like Lionel Hampton!) Thanks again.
