I would like to transfer some photos from my phone to the computer.

How do I know of my Sony Vaio laptop has Bluetooth or infrared?

How do I go about transferring files?

It should tell you in the documentation that came with the laptop.

If you have not got the docs, check the make and model number and see if you can download it from the Sony website.

Many companies now put their documentation online.

buy a bluetooth dongle at about �5, connect to a usb on your laptop, and send files via Bluetooth
