I recently had flu which has left me feeling exhausted. Does anyone have any suggestions for pick-me-ups?

Hi, me too! I have just bought some Effico Tonic from the Lloyds pharmacy connected to my surgery. It's got B Vitmains in it and is a fruit flavoured tonic for loss of vitality after illness or when feeling tired or run down. It was about 4.50 but should hopefully do the trick. I have lost my appetite near on completely so I am hopeful this will help get me back on track.

Thanks for that. My 'get up and go' has 'got up and gone' and with three teenage children to run around after it is beyond a joke now. Hope you feel 100% soon.
hi budlet, proper influenza as oppossed to the common cold can be very debilitating and can take some time to recover from, take as much rest as possible and extra vitamins might not be a bad idea. hope your get up and go . returns soon.
woops, dont touch drugs with 3 kids in tow :-)

I think it must be my age (40) but I wouldn't have a clue where to go for drugs these days apart from the legal type!!
he he, dont worry I am only joking, wouldnt touch the stuff :-)
I had the flu a couple of weeks ago and spent a week in bed. I still feel very weak and yes, my get up and go as b*ggered off as well. plenty of fresh fruit and veg and a good diet and take it easy for a couple of weeks <I know, easier said than done>
berocca or metatone tonic

berocca is great
seven seas tonic is fantastic too, plenty of fluids, rest and being nice to yourself
Yeah, I was gonna say Berroca - get it from Boots.
