Does anyone think the new Mika song (the one about loving big girls) sounds a little like 9 - 5 by Dolly Parton?

Kind of, yeah! A couple of them as I've been listening to the album I've thought 'oh that sounds like something or other'. The beginning of one reminds me of one of the Scissor Sisters' songs....Laura I think.

I think the MIKA song Billy Brown (the chorus) sounds like the theme tune from Sesame Street.

Thank Gawd someone else has said this so I know I'm not the only one. ;-) Yes, there do seem to be similarities. Not worth a court case or anything, but I can certainly hear a resemblance.
