...who is annoyed at the NHS advert for getting unhooked (quitting smoking)? I mean, its not just annoying on TV, but on EVERY page of my TV guide theres a nice picture of someone with a huge hook through their mouth. I doubt its made many people quit either...

I agree ticw, It not only turns my stomach but I find it really disturbing.
I don't smoke, but even if I did I am pretty sure the only message it would convey would be the same as to the rest of us; fishing is dangerous. A complete waste of an ad campaign I think xx

I TOTALLY AGREE. I used to smoke. and adverts like this are ment to shock you into giving up. but it never works, it makes you feel uncomfortable watching these adverts. giving up comes from you not some advert.

Iam so irritated by it that I won't be buying TVQuick in future. Not only was it on every TV page last week , it was on every page this week. Had to pen them all over.
